VårdIX Staffing is searching for a licensed nurse with expertise in emergency care for a longer summer assignment in a pediatric emergency department in Uppsala. This assignment is ideal for those who want to combine high workload, pediatric medicine, and attractive compensation.
Assignment Information:
- Area: Emergency and specialized pediatrics (6+ specialties), Uppsala
- Period: June 6 – August 31, 2026
- Scope: 2490 hours 30 minutes
- Compensation: By agreement
- Location: Uppsala – on-site work
Job Responsibilities:
- Emergency care of children and adolescents with a wide range of pediatric issues
- Prioritization and triage in an emergency environment
- Medical treatments, medication management, and monitoring
- Teamwork with pediatricians, nursing assistants, and other specialties
- Documentation and care planning
Qualifications:
- Licensed nurse
- Experience in emergency care and/or pediatrics is an advantage
- Comfortable in high-paced and emergency situations
- Good teamwork skills and professional demeanor
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
